About Maple Park

The Lake Geneva Joint #1 School District is committed to supporting quality education programs. In 2018, a community need arose for a blended learning approach that challenged students to reach their full potential. As a result, the Lake Geneva Joint #1 School District joined with the Maple Park Charter School Governance Board and created a new and unique learning environment for students, which opened in September 2019.

The Maple Park Charter School (5th—8th Grade) offers a blended learning approach. The teacher develops each student's personalized learning plan on record, with parent and student input.

Maple Park Charter School provides an individual curriculum based on state-mandated standards. The program includes a comprehensive online learning platform supported through Wisconsin Virtual Schools and aligns with the Wisconsin State Academic Standards.

Parents are required to attend curriculum planning sessions with one of our licensed teachers to ensure greater academic success and make physical connections with Maple Park Charter School.

At Maple Park Charter School, our teachers are dedicated to ensuring success. We believe a significant key to that success is communication. To ensure quality communication, we require that our teachers respond to inquiries from parents/guardians of pupils by the end of the first day following the day on which the inquiry is received.

Our students have the opportunity to attend enhanced learning days. These enhanced learning days are offered on Wednesdays (Grades 5th-8th). Families may select one day to attend per week. Activities include gym, music, world cultures, art, literacy block, and STEM.
