I am humbled and grateful to be Superintendent for Lake Geneva Schools. I have witnessed the Lake Geneva-Genoa City area support public education and academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities in a way that is truly remarkable.

About Peter C. Wilson, Ph.D.

Peter Wilson is the Superintendent of Lake Geneva Schools. He is a proud Michigander, born and raised in Houghton, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. In his free time, Peter enjoys running, playing tennis, rooting for the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers, and spending time with his children, Mackynzie and Crew.


Peter has over 22 years of experience in public education. Before joining Lake Geneva Schools as Superintendent of Schools, Peter served as an Assistant Superintendent and Director of Student Services. He has also served as a middle school and elementary principal, a classroom teacher, a mentor, and a high school tennis coach. He holds a Ph.D. and MS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis and an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Grand Valley State University.
