The Communications Department supports the mission, vision, and values of Lake Geneva Schools by maintaining open and honest communication with families, staff, and the community.
The department works collaboratively to promote the district, inform the external and internal public, and build public understanding and community relationships.

The Lake Geneva Schools Communications Department is committed to sharing our stories through a variety of resources, including electronic newsletters, print publications, social media, our website, and videos. Our goal is to build understanding, morale, goodwill, cooperation, and support for the schools and related programs.
We know our schools are strongest when parents and community members play an active role in our schools. We value the connections we have with our stakeholders.

The Lake Geneva Schools Community Connect Newsletter is our electronic newsletter sharing stories and events from across the districts.
It goes out to all district families and any community member who signs up to receive it.

Media
Relations
Lake Geneva Schools recognizes the important role the media plays in reporting news and information about its educational programs, services, students, and employees.
Media Requests, Photos, or Interviews
Lake Geneva Schools operates in compliance with all applicable State Laws and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Media who want to record (video or otherwise), photograph, or interview staff members and students are asked to make a request through the Director of Marketing & Communications.
Visiting Our Schools
Any time a member of the media is on District property, the Director of Marketing & Communications or designee will serve as an escort to minimize disruption at the school and to assist with additional requests. If you would like to visit a school, please contact the Director of Marketing & Communications.
