I like working for Lake Geneva Schools because I believe that education is a lifelong journey, and our district is invested in supporting teachers' growth through ongoing professional
development, collaboration, and mentorship programs.  Early on in my career, before I even had kids of my own, I set out to teach in a district where I would be proud to send my own children.  I believe in our product, and I am proud to teach in a place where so many of my own colleagues also choose to send their own kids.  Educators have high standards; if it is good for our own kids, it is good for all kids.

I am proud to work for the Lake Geneva School district as a teacher at Badger High School. It is a privilege to be part of such a talented group of educators who show up every day to pour into our students. The opportunities, both academic and extracurricular, and the commitment from local communities sets our schools apart from others. More importantly, I feel supported and encouraged in my professional career. As someone who lives outside the district, we made the decision to school-choice our eldest into Lake Geneva Schools, at first, out of convenience, but it quickly became one of the best and easiest decisions we've made as parents. With each passing school-year, we continue to be impressed with the staff and the rich educational experiences our kids receive. Part of what makes working at LG Schools and Badger High School so great is the supportive environment and strong community support. Because of the small-town atmosphere, it is easy to build strong relationships here. I have been teaching here for over twenty years, and it feels familiar and homey in the building, classroom, and office areas.  This is home to me.Phil Huff Badger High School
